SIGMA medical films are available in three categories: PP-laminated film, PE-laminated film, and blister film. They can be sealed with coated medical paper and Tyvek® for sterilization packaging.
PP-laminated film and medical paper can be used for steam sterilization packaging. PE-laminated film and Tyvek® are suitable for EO, Gamma, and Plasma medical sterilization packaging.
Blister film is extruded by a seven-layer co-extrusion blown film machine, which is exceptional in the medical industry. The film can be used in automatic FFS (Form Fill Seal) machines. Since it has a multi-form structure, it can be used for general medical device packaging that requires puncture resistance.
SIGMA medical films comply with international standards such as EN 868 and ISO 11607.
